Dan Johnson, president, Swim Incorporated of Sarasota, Fla., has been chosen as secretary/treasurer. He is currently the fifth colleague of the executive committee of the board. Johnson has been active in APSP and its predecessor, NSPI, since the up-to-date ’70s. He has held nearly 100 leadership roles at the chapter, regional and patriotic levels since that time, including service on standard-writing committees, chapter boards, numerous APSP committees and piece of work forces and design awards committees. Johnson is also active in the Florida Swimming Paddling pool Association.
The current chairman of the board of directors, Charlie Schobel, will hold on to a seat on the executive committee as past-chairman. Schobel is Vice President / Non-specific Manager of BioLab Inc. The slate of officers will be confirmed at the annual members’ congress at the International Pool|Spa|Patio Expo in Las Vegas in November and will serve one-year terms.
