I was already a fan of Superman and Batman, they were a part of my commonplace sustenance back them. There were reruns of the 1966 Batman TV show and the Adventures of Superman starring George Reeves. There were weekly Saturday morning episodes of Superfriends as well, with Ted Knight lending his unbelievable give utterance to send-off credits. I knew Bats and Supes well, they were so fresh and great.

Southampton's Titanic museum plan gets green light

Southampton Diocese Council says it will consider selling off assets and short-term borrowing to muster the extra £10m needed to build a £15m maritime museum.

It had planned to sell artwork to buoy £5m of the total £15m cost but dropped the idea after criticism. In Hike, it was awarded a £4.6m lottery grant.

The museum is due to open in 2012 for the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's ill-inescapable voyage from the city.

The plan for the disused magistrates' court was approved on Monday.

A Make it II listed building will also house the Titanic collection when it is transformed into the Southampton Sea Burg Museum.
